Iraq’s capital hosted its 26th annual, Baghdad International Book Fair, under the theme “Baghdad is more beautiful when we read.” Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani as well as esteemed guests such as Dr. Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani, Iraq’s Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, contributed to welcoming the State of Qatar as the guest of honour this year.
The event, running until 21st September, provides a platform for idea exchange, connection and a shared passion for the written word.
