The State Company for Drug Industries and Medical Appliances in Samarra announced today ,March 11th, that it has supplied more than 3 million 500 ml bottles of Normal Saline (0.9%) Solution to medical institutions across Iraq.
The solutions were produced at the Intravenous Solutions Factory in Nineveh Governorate and are used by medical professionals for first aid and infection control applications.
The company’s Director General, Mohammed Abdul Qader Al-Naimi, said the new supply of 3,344,330 bottles comes in line with the company’s production plans aimed at supporting the healthcare sector and providing essential pharmaceutical products.
Al-Naimi also emphasised the company’s commitment to delivering its production programmes to the highest quality standards, which coincides with the company recently receiving the international quality certifications ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 on March 9th in the fields of health, occupational safety, and environmental management.
