Oil exports reached nearly 100 million barrels in February, generating more than $6.8 billion in revenue, according to official data released by the Oil Ministry.
The figures, based on statistics from the State Organisation for Marketing of Oil (SOMO), showed total crude exports, including condensates, amounted to 99,872,220 barrels.
Revenues from these exports totalled $6.814 billion, the ministry said.
Exports from central and southern oilfields accounted for the majority, reaching 93,349,480 barrels during the month.
Shipments from the Kurdistan region via Turkey’s Ceyhan port stood at 5,551,610 barrels, while exports from the Qayyarah field totalled 971,130 barrels.
The ministry said it publishes monthly export data as part of efforts to maintain transparency in its oil operations.
