Payment orchestration platform MoneyHash has partnered with Iraqi fintech company Wayl to support global and regional businesses expanding into Iraq’s growing digital commerce sector.
The partnership aims to simplify market entry by enabling merchants to access local payment methods alongside international card schemes through integrated payment infrastructure tailored to Iraqi market requirements.
MoneyHash said the collaboration strengthens its strategy of expanding across emerging markets by working with local partners that understand regulatory frameworks and consumer payment behaviour.
Through Wayl’s checkout engine and merchant-of-record services, businesses entering Iraq will gain support with payment acceptance, operational setup and localisation — key challenges often faced when launching in new markets.
The agreement is expected to help international merchants establish scalable online operations while improving access to digital payments for Iraqi consumers.
