Iraq's Ministry of Tourism Prepares for Arab Ministerial Council

In preparation for Iraq hosting the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism and the Forum on Inclusive Tourism Destinations from December 5th – 10th, the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities scheduled a meeting, attended by the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Tourism and Antiquities, the Director General of the Department of Tourist Facilities, and the Director General of the Administrative and Financial Department at the Tourism Authority.

At the outset of the meeting, those attending, under the guidance of the Minister, outlined their target of presenting a dignified image that reflects Iraq’s cultural and touristic standing, and emphasised the importance of the event, which is regarded with prestige amongst the Arab World. 

The meeting concluded with several important decisions, all of which will contribute towards the representation of Iraq at the event, and the Ministry’s vision, which is ultimately enhance Iraq’s standing at Arab and international levels.
