Iraqi National Team World Cup Qualifying Match Postponed

In light of ongoing tensions in the Middle East, the Iraq National coach, Graham Arnold, has requested to postpone the Iraq football team’s qualifying match for the upcoming World Cup.

One of the contributing factors was the closure of all airports across the United Arab Emirates, restricting travel to and from Iraq for the coach and players.

The match is currently scheduled for March 31st in Mexico. While there is no confirmation as to whether or not the match will be moved, the Iraq National team has stated that they will be in close contact with both FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation to help accommodate the disruptions faced by the current circumstances.
