Iraqi Government Promote Art Culture Across Baghdad

In cooperation with the Al-Rusafa Youth and Sports Directorate, The Youth Culture and Arts department has held a local arts exhibition for local audiences in Al-Rufusa, Baghdad.

The exhibition included musical performances, handicrafts and pieces of visual art. The event was held outdoors, showcasing the works of multiple artists from across Iraq.

The purpose of the event was to raise awareness help and support for multiple artists to help bring art to the forefront of mainstream culture. It also helps foster engagement among local art communities and help artists to network, with the possibility of future collaborations. With these events, the artists also have chances to show their work to the general public and gain their support for future projects. If these projects continue, Al-Rusafa could see a resurgence in local art.
