Iraqi Airways Launches First Domestic Flights Between Baghdad and Mosul

Iraqi Airways has commenced its first domestic flights connecting Baghdad International Airport with Mosul International Airport, effective Thursday, 6 November 2025.

The move comes in line with Transport Minister Razzaq Muhibs Al-Saadawi’s directives to expand Iraq’s domestic air network, aiming to boost travel and trade between provinces.

Engineer Manaf Abdul-Munim Ajil, General Manager of Iraqi Airways, confirmed that all technical and administrative preparations have been completed for the launch of regular flights, coordinated closely with the Civil Aviation Authority and airport management.
