Iraqi Airways Expands to 40 Flights Daily

Iraqi Airways has announced a significant increase in its flight operations, now running approximately 40 daily flights to a broad range of domestic and international destinations.

This expansion highlights the airline’s ongoing commitment to reconnect Iraq with key cities around the world and to provide enhanced travel options for both Iraqi passengers and international travellers.

The airline’s network covers popular airports across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe, including Karachi, Amman, Dubai, Istanbul, Beijing, and Cairo, among others. This growing route network not only improves connectivity but also supports Iraq’s economic recovery and tourism development.

In line with advices from Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani and Transport Minister Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi, Iraqi Airways is offering discounted ticket prices to various groups, including retirees, people with special needs, cancer patients, and wounded security forces personnel. These fare reductions demonstrate the airline’s dedication to making air travel more accessible and inclusive.

Passenger safety and comfort remain at the forefront of Iraqi Airways’ priorities. The airline’s technical and engineering teams work diligently to maintain high standards in line with international safety regulations.

Moreover, Iraqi Airways is making notable progress in its cooperation with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to obtain the IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) certification, a globally recognised benchmark for airline safety and operational excellence. The airline has completed more than 71% of the IOSA programme requirements within the scheduled timeframe, marking a significant step forward in improving institutional performance and qualifying for the prestigious Third Country Operator (TCO) certificate.

This expansion and dedication to international safety standards reflect a promising future for Iraqi Airways. As the airline continues to grow and enhance its services, passengers can look forward to more efficient, safe, and comfortable connections linking Iraq with the wider world.
