Iraq, Oman Strengthen Bonds Through Strategic Cooperation

The Prime Minister, Mohammed S. Al-Sudani, arrived in Oman on Wednesday, leading a high-level delegation in response to an official invitation from his Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq.

Before leaving Baghdad, Al-Sudani noted that the visit aims to strengthen ties and strategic partnerships. Months of work by Iraqi and Omani officials in preparation led to agreements in crucial sectors such as energy, tourism, education, transport, trade and defence.

The Prime Minister praised Oman’s historic support for Iraq and emphasised Baghdad’s commitment to building long-term partnerships with its Arab neighbours through constructive diplomacy.
