Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met on Wednesday with Norwegian Chargé d’Affaires to Iraq Alexander Leirfall to review bilateral relations and discuss ways to strengthen cooperation in development, economic, and investment sectors.
The meeting highlighted Iraq’s approach to promoting regional stability through dialogue and support for peaceful solutions to regional challenges. Al-Sudani emphasised the importance of international cooperation based on shared values and respect for peoples’ rights as a foundation for resolving disputes.
Leirfall conveyed Norway’s interest in expanding cooperation with Iraq across various fields, including environmental protection and peaceful coexistence projects supported by Norwegian institutions operating in the country.
