Iraq and Saudi Arabia Strengthen Sports Cooperation in Riyadh

On behalf of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr Ahmed Al-Mubarga, the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Sports Affairs, Dr Hassan Al-Hasnawi, attended the opening ceremony of the sixth Islamic Solidarity Games, which began on November 8th in Riyadh, with the participation of 57 countries, including Iraq. 

Alongside the games, the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports signed an executive programme with the Saudi Ministry of Sports to put into action the memorandum of understanding agreed between the two sides. The programme includes a range of sporting events, joint programmes, and initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of sport.
