Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Iraqi on Sunday to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two neighbouring countries.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed areas of economic, cultural, and diplomatic cooperation, as well as ongoing initiatives to enhance strategic collaboration.
Following the talks, the ministers held a joint press conference, highlighting the importance of continuous communication and coordination in furthering joint projects and exploring mechanisms to support mutual development goals.
Hussein is scheduled to continue his programme in Tehran over the next two days, meeting with senior officials to advance cooperation in various sectors. Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to a comprehensive framework for bilateral engagement.
