In an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and spirited competition, the Iraqi capital hosted an indoor football tournament featuring two teams representing the 3rd and 13th Brigades. The event was organised by an official body responsible for training and development.

The match drew a strong turnout from spectators, with active engagement from attendees and the presence of several administrative and sporting figures, lending the event both official weight and lively energy.
Speaking to IINA, an organiser shared: “These events provide a vital outlet for young people, helping them sharpen skills and build unity in a secure, encouraging space.”
An IINA correspondent covering the tournament reported that the atmosphere was “full of enthusiasm and commitment, showing how players balanced sport with discipline.”

The event concluded with awards presented to the winning team and standout players, amid praise for both the technical level and the overall organisation of the tournament.

Organisers expressed hope that the competition will become a recurring event involving multiple institutions, as part of wider efforts to promote teamwork, physical activity, and constructive community engagement.
