IINA, Sedaye Miras Sign Cultural Cooperation Deal

The Iraq International News Agency (IINA) has signed a partnership agreement with Sedaye Miras, aiming to strengthen the ties between Iraq and Iran through cultural news exchange. The agreement is set to expand the international reach of both agencies, and promote regional media cooperation.

Mohammad Barikani, Managing Director of Sedaye Miras, stated: “The signing of this media cooperation agreement marks a new chapter in the exchange of information and coverage of cultural heritage, tourism, and handicrafts.

Sedaye Miras is very pleased with this collaboration and hopes that the partnership will effectively introduce the culture, art, and attractions of both Iran and Iraq to their audiences. This collaboration not only enables accurate and comprehensive coverage of the achievements and tourism potentials of the two countries, but also helps foster a deeper understanding between their people regarding each other’s cultural heritage.”

Dr. Susan Hameed, Executive Manager of IINA, adds: “Signing the agreement with Iran’s ‘Sedaye Miras’ agency will help expand our joint media initiatives and further strengthen the long-standing cultural and historical ties between Iraq and Iran.” Both parties emphasised the importance of mutual collaboration in promoting shared values and continued cultural exchange.

This agreement serves as a foundation for a stronger bilateral relationship between IINA and Sedaye Miras, a step forward in building enduring cooperation between Iraq and Iran’s media sectors, supporting efforts to promote cultural diversity and mutual respect across borders.
