The Iraq Britain Business Council (IBBC) has held a Ramadan Iftar for its members in Baghdad.
The event, hosted at the illustrious Qasr Aliya Restaurant, was sponsored by the Iraqi holding company Rowad Al Qimmah Company (RQC).
Despite the air travel restrictions imposed across the region, the Iftar was well attended, with around 50 members present.
Mr Ali Mashkour, IBBC Baghdad Office Manager said “The evening provided a relaxed opportunity for IBBC members and partners to reconnect in Baghdad during the holy month of Ramadan and to strengthen the relationships that underpin the IBBC work in Iraq.”
Mr Mohammed Alsaadi of Sama Hammurabi, IBBC Members’ Representative in Iraq and Mr Mahdi Almousawi, CEO of RQC, were among the guests, and expressed their appreciation for their fellow IBBC members’ attendance and sharing of the Iftar.
The event demonstrates IBBC’s commitment to maintaining strong business relations between its members and partners in Iraq, despite the restrictive effects of ongoing regional tensions.
