Following an official invitation from the Carthage International Festival board, the Iraqi Fashion House took part in the celebrations from the 9th to the 14th of August, 2025.

Leading up to the event, teams at the Fashion House were working hard to craft a collection of historically accurate, folkloric costumes. The clothing pieces were inspired by Iraq’s deep-rooted civilisations, such as ancient Mesopotamia, as well as the rich cultural diversity of the region.

The Iraqi Fashion House, part of the Ministry of Culture, has helped preserve Iraq’s cultural and artistic legacy for years. Its participation in the Carthage Festival speaks to a broader, ongoing commitment to showcasing Iraq’s culture and traditions with wider audiences, using fashion as a bridge between the past and present.
