Baghdad on Course for Economic Boost After Opening of Iraq Mall

The brand new Iraq Mall was opened earlier this week, establishing the foundations for an economic boost across Iraq, particularly in Baghdad.

The opening is setting an important commercial milestone in the capital Baghdad. In this mall multiple fashion brands, both national and international, have opened stores making it a prime destination for all sorts of clothing and accessories.

Of the stores included are: Mango, Calliope, Ziddy, and OYSHO.

The Spanish based sportswear brand, OYSHO is the first of its kind to open in the country, introducing its products to an Iraqi audience for the first time.

Other big name brands such as Nike, Pandora, and TomFord Eyewear have opened across the mall. All of these brands have been promoted across social media platforms such as the Iraq Mall Instagram.

As well as creating a place for self expression and socialisation amongst Iraqi citizens, the mall also hopes to attract the attention of national and international tourists.
Ultimately the introduction of this mall in Baghdad establishes new opportunities on the job market, from sales associates, management, food and beverage roles, and even safety and security officers. This introduction aims to promote economic growth across Iraq, particularly focusing on Baghdad.
