Baghdad Launches First Phase of Al-Jawadin Park

As part of the second campaign of ‘Beautiful Baghdad’ second campaign launched by the Prime Minister’s Office, the first phase of a new public park in Al-Kazimiya City has been successfully implemented on an area of 15 dunams.

Engineer Amar Musa, Amin of Baghdad, conducted a field inspection of the project, which has been developed by the Projects Department in cooperation with the Municipality of Al-Kazimiya.

The park will include a  water fountain, tennis court, playgrounds for adults and children, an administrative building, garage, decorative seating areas, and extensive green spaces.

During his visit, Engineer Musa highlighted the project’s significance in enhancing recreational spaces and improving the quality of life for local residents, emphasising the city’s ongoing efforts to revitalise public areas.

The completion of this first phase represents a milestone in Baghdad’s urban development strategy, demonstrating continued cooperation between municipal authorities and the Prime Minister’s Office to provide sustainable, family-friendly public spaces across the city.
