Baghdad and Serbia Explore Infrastructure and Municipal Projects

Engineer Amar Musa Kazem, Secretary of Baghdad, met with Serbian Ambassador Branslav Gigili at his office to review ongoing development projects, municipal services, and infrastructure improvements in the capital.

The Secretary highlighted Baghdad’s efforts to strengthen Arab and international relations through MoUs with several cities, stressing the importance of diplomatic engagement to showcase Baghdad’s construction and development progress.

Ambassador Gigili expressed Serbia’s readiness to cooperate on roads, bridges, infrastructure, metro projects, as well as initiatives in agriculture and irrigation.

Both sides agreed to enhance joint coordination and explore further cooperation between Baghdad Secretariat and Belgrade Municipality, fostering experience exchange and municipal development.
