Baghdad International Airport has resumed operations following a temporary suspension caused by regional tensions, the Ministry of Transport announced.
The first arrivals included flights from Middle East Airlines and Turkish Airlines, while Iraqi Airways operated five outbound flights, including one to Amman.
Officials expect a rise in flight activity by early next week, with both domestic and international services gradually returning to normal.
Basra International Airport remains fully operational, with increased traffic anticipated in the coming days.
