Anbar Governorate Building Project Reaches 78% Completion

The Ministry of Planning has announced that the construction of the new Anbar Governorate building has reached 78% completion, marking a significant milestone in one of the province’s most important infrastructure projects.

Field teams from the Ministry recently inspected the site, confirming that the four-storey complex is progressing at an advanced pace despite financial challenges stemming from delays in disbursing funds.

According to the Ministry, each floor of the building covers an area of 4,500 square metres. The complex will feature a 1,000-seat conference hall, 286 offices, a restaurant, and a prayer hall. It will also be fitted with central air conditioning, fire safety systems, surveillance cameras, green spaces, and parking facilities.

Officials stated that the timely completion of the project will play a key role in strengthening Anbar’s administrative infrastructure, providing a modern working environment for government staff, and enhancing the delivery of services to citizens.

The Ministry has urged the allocation of sufficient financial resources to ensure uninterrupted progress and the building’s completion within the planned timeframe.
