70 Scholarships Offered to Iraqi Students to Study Hungary

The Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the availability of 70 scholarships in Hungary for the 2026/2027 academic year, providing new opportunities for Iraqi students to pursue higher education abroad.

The scholarships are divided into three categories: 10 for bachelor’s degrees, 20 for master’s programs, and 40 for doctoral studies. Applications will be accepted until 15 January 2026.

The Ministry of Missions and Cultural Relations highlighted that these scholarships aim to strengthen Iraq’s academic ties with international institutions and support students in gaining advanced knowledge and skills. This initiative is part of Iraq’s broader strategy to enhance educational opportunities and promote global academic exchange.

Eligible students are encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline to benefit from this chance to study in Hungary and access a wide range of academic and cultural experiences.
