Following the 17th Session of the Joint Iraqi -Tunisian Committee in Baghdad, Tunisia announced the decision to cancel the requirement to obtain an entry visa for Iraqis.
Under the new policy, Iraqi visitors can now enjoy visa-free entry into Tunisia for stays of up to 15 days, with a minimum interval of 180 days between visits. This simplified process eliminates bureaucratic procedures and opens doors for more frequent travel. To ensure a smooth immigration process, visitors will need to present evidence of pre-booked hotel accommodations and return tickets.
This increased tourism will undoubtedly benefit both nations, boosting Tunisia’s tourism industry and generating economic opportunities for Iraqis providing travel services. With easier travel now being a reality, we can expect to see a significant increase in cultural exchange, trade activity, and overall cooperation between these two nations.
