The Statue of Kahramana Pours Courage on Iraqis

Baghdad – (iina) The famous Iraqi sculptor and artist, Mohammed Ghani Hikmat, enlightens a road in Baghdad by making a statue of Kahramana. This statue is an important figure in the story of ‘Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves’ from the ‘One Thousand and One Nights’ tales. The role of Kahramana in the story projects an image of bravery which is a representation of the Iraqi people. The statue is made out of bronze and it is situated in the middle of a crossroad, giving strength to the citizens of Baghdad.
