The Baghdad Hall invited many independent businesses to exhibit their fine arts & handicraft work from home decorations to cultural sculptures and paintings. All of the work presents a strong influence on the Iraqi heritage with historical figures and artisanal products. Also, some of the businesses have added a more modern touch to their work showing the creative contrast of the gallery.
The event has attracted the Australian Ambassador, Paula Ganly, who showed her interest in each of the business owners. Many of those owners were women working independently, which shows not only the Iraqi women’s crafts and talents but also the support they are receiving to exhibit their work.
