Iraq’s President and Ambassadors Gather for Conference on Iraq’s Foreign Relations

Baghdad – (iina) The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a conference on the ‘Iraqi Diplomacy: Balanced International Relations and Sustainable Economic Development’. The president of Iraq and Prime Minister attended the conference, as well as members of Parliament, Iraqi Ambassadors, and diplomats.

The meeting highlighted important topics in regards of shaping political stances and the economic challenges faced during Covid-19. In addition, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Mohammed Hussein, spoke on the strengthening of democracy in Iraq, and the pursuit of peace in order to avoid war in the country.

Iraq’s President declared that they are working on constructive dialogues between Iraq and foreign governments in order to keep strong and peaceful relationships internationally.
