Iraqi Airways Begins Daily Departures for Hajj seasons

Starting from May 8th, Iraqi Airways has launched their airlift operations for Hajj pilgrims as part of the 2025/1446H pilgrimage seasons, which will continue until May 28th.

Iraqi Airways has begun operating 5 to 6 daily flights from various airports in Iraq heading towards the holy sites, Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia. The airline is working closely with the Ministry of Transport to priortise safety , comfort and high service standards for all pilgrims.

As part of this year’s Hajj operation, Iraqi Airways has allocated a modern wide body aircrafts , which includes the Boeing 787 Dream liner, Boeing 737 , and Airbus A330.

These aircrafts are equipped with advanced technologies and passenger service systems that meet international aviation standards.

The Ministry of Transport is in full coordination with the Supreme Commission for Hajj and Umrah as well as the Saudi authorities, to manage the process at all stages, from check-in to onward ground transportation in Saudi Arabia

The organised plan is set to service thousands of pilgrims in the coming weeks, highlighting Iraq’s dedication and commitment to serving its people. The Iraqi airways role in facility this scared duty remains a point of national pride and responsibility.
