Medical AI Conference Highlights Iraq-UK Collaboration

Following the success of the first Iraqi Medical Conference in June, the Midlands Medical Academy hosted the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Medical and Allied Fields. The event took place at the Crown Hotel, London, from the 18th – 19th October.

The event, recognised by the UK’s General Medical Council, brought together leading voices in medicine, artificial intelligence and healthcare innovation, from across the UK and Iraq.  

The two-day conference explored the rising contributions of AI in medical diagnostics, healthcare management and the ethical implications of AI integration. 

Key speakers included Prof. Dhiya al-Jumeily OBE and Prof. Mohammed Sami al-Abadie. Professionals from medical and AI sectors contributed to the discussions shaping the future of healthcare innovation.
